Palm Springs Destroyed by Wind Farms

Donald Trump doesn't like the Palm Spring wind farms.

Donald Trump is an interesting man whose bonded with the rightward-tilting pundits, even becoming one himself. Soon he'll have his own show on the Fox News network.

His tweets are incensing Valley residents who take pride on the beautiful windmills that cover the barren mountains on Interstate 10 and Highway 111. Trump believes that the turbines are destroying the scenery around Palm Springs, not to mention the birds flying around them.

Bird killers the wind turbines are not, well, not as much as the loveable domestic cats. Nor as much as the glass on high-rises. Yes, and even less than the automobile. Come to think of it, how many birds have you killed with your car in your lifetime. How many has your cat killed?

So much for bird-killing. To be sure, there are more turbines than ever, and they're still putting them up. The new ones with crane-like bodies are cheaper and less aesthetic  than the older all-white, body-and-fan models.

Today's question is...should more wind turbines be installed on our turbine-infested mountains or should their be a moratorium on building new ones? Better yet, should some of them be taken down.
