Palm Springs in winter |
Aright, already, it's the middle September...hot and humid. Did you hear that? Hot and humid.
Winter in Palm Springs is a see-but-don't-touch affair. You see the snow, but you can't touch it.
Lots of people like that. That's why this city--all of the desert cities, actually--are so well-groomed, immaculate, really, compared to most other Southern California tourist destinations.
Looking at this picture now, I know that we who live here don't have much longer to wait until it cools down.
Late September in Palm Springs is like late March in Minneapolis--everybody's waiting to be able to spend some time outside.
