Center of Warm Sands

This would probably be the center of the Warm Sands neighborhood in Palm Springs. This is the neighborhood where the gay resorts are. My guess would be that the Mirage is the most popular, but that could be debated.

At any rate, the Mirage was the first gay resort in the neighborhood. It started back in the 80s when the owner wanted to open up a place where gay people could go to socialize. He not only wanted a hotel that catered to visitors, but also a spot for locals to hang out.
