Palm Springs High School's mascot is an indian (I know it's politically incorrect); but in these parts of Southern California, words like indians and retarded are used with no regard to how demeaning the words might be. The red arrow, of course would belong to an "indian." Talk about stereotypes...
You should study up on your History with regrads to the High School in Palm Springs Matthew. Actually, the history of Palm Springs in general would be good for you to know....or at least pretend to know. "but in these parts of Southern California, words like indians and retarded are used with no regard to how demeaning the words might be.." Ignorance is bliss I suppose.
What is the significance of "Big Red"?
