Just like the rest of the big stars, Doris Day also came to Palm Springs. She was the Julia Roberts of the 1950s and 60s. In a 2008 New York Times article Kay Ballard had said that she has visited Doris from time to time and that she still looks like Doris Day and referred to her as somewhat reclusive.
Doris lives in Carmel Valley California. She was born in 1922 or 1924 depending upon who you ask. That makes her somewhere in her late 80s. At any rate, she'll be 90 soon.
