This house in Desert Hot Springs was a model for a development that never happened. Look at the overhangs, that's where people parked their cars when they came to at the home.
The home was built in the 50s and has all the bells and whistles of modern--clean lines, natural materials and huge windows. The home also appears to have sloping walls, very unique in modern homes of the era.
