Charles Luckman and William Pereira were the architects for this building (see above). Though not household names like Albert Frey, William Cody and E. Stewart Williams, they designed a slew of buildings all over the western United States.
Before this store was The Alley, it was Crown Books and before that it was Robinson's Department Store.
It was built in 1960.
